Short description

Successful and challenging communication

Target group
You may wish to participate in the training if you would like to stand up more for yourself and your interests. Do you want to express yourself clearly, also to help prevent misunderstanding? Do you sometimes find it difficult to make a request or to ask for help? Then, this is the training for you.

Course content
‘Learning by doing’ is what this course is all about. You will participate in practical observation and listening assignments and dialogues, and learn to communicate your wishes and opinions clearly. You will also learn to react at the right moment in ‘difficult’ conversations or meetings. The course is run by two trainers, both experts in behavioural change and communication training. 

This training deals with the following topics: 

  • Observation and interpretation
  • Verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Giving an opinion (for example during an appraisal or meeting)
  • Giving and receiving feedback
  • Presentation
  • Coping better with stress and obstructive thinking.

Results
You will better understand your own manner of communication. Your communication skills and conversation techniques will substantially improve. You will also become aware of the importance of body language. In addition, you will be more assertive: no longer afraid to stand up for yourself and to clearly express your opinion. You will communicate effectively and display daring and verve.
