Short description

How to develop and improve your competences on various key issues of management

Target group
As a participant, you should have at least one year of experience in management. You wish to extend your knowledge of management development and your competences in this field. You strive to perform with more efficiency and effectiveness as a manager and leader. To participate in this training, you should have enjoyed a middle or higher vocational education or fulfill an academic level position. 

Course content

Module 1: Result Oriented Management (ROM)

Result Oriented Management is about being successful as individuals and as a team. This module provides an introduction to the theory of management by objectives: the roles and attitudes of manager nd employees. How to plan and how to set expectations with (teams of) employees; how to draw up agreements and ensure mutual commitment; and experiencing the drawbacks of appraisal? A workbook will be used to practise Result Oriented Management. 

Result
You will gain insight into the possibilities of ROM and the strategic planning of starting ROM within your company. You will become familiar with the scope and function of appraisal and assessment reviews in the HRM cycle. 

Module 2: HR and Performance Management
This module deals with theory and practise on the main issues of recruitment, selection and maintaining of staff. It includes the basic approach of providing career development and job guidance, as well as valuable tips, tools, techniques and communication skills for functional career development. You will also experience the motivational power of correcting. The course is based on ‘action learning’, or learning by doing.

Result
You will increase your knowledge of HR Management and develop relevant conversation skills and interview techniques. 

Module 3: Instrumental issues

The instrumental issues dealt with in this module include: Financial Management, Marketing and communication, Logistic Management, Information Management and Sales & Customer Service.
