PRINCE2 Foundation™

Short description

Target Group
This training is intended for project participants, team leaders and upcoming project leaders who are responsible for (or involved with) ICT projects management. To participate in this training, you should have experience working in projects.

Course content
The training deals with the following topics:

• Correlation of the project with the business case
• Overview and features of PRINCE2™ processes, components and techniques
• Roles, tasks and responsibilities within a PRINCE2™ project
• Set-up and contents of a product-oriented project plan
• Control of a project related to the project plan
• Concepts and definitions

Results
You will be able to name and recognise the most relevant concepts of the PRINCE2™ method. You will have acquired the knowledge and skills to steer and control projects within the PRINCE2™ method framework. You will be ready to participate in a project according to this method.

PRINCE2™ Practitioner (this PRINCE2™ Foundation training may serve as the preliminary education for the PRINCE2™ Practitioner course), or Project-management IPMA level D.
