Short description

This training will introduce you to the concepts of working in a project environment. The desired role and attitude of the team members and actively engaged users will all be discussed, providing you with the information and tools to maximise chances of making a project into a success.

Target group 
Everyone involved with work experience and involvement with projects, be it as a participant, a specialist or in a user group, may participate in this training.

Course content
The training deals with the following topics

General principles and features of project management:

  • Project traps
  • Integration model: defining, P&O, communication, risk, quality, acquisition, time, costs and integration
  • The Result Cycle: assuming, preparing, executing, assessing, adjusting, delivering and evaluating
  • Decision scales
  • The project handbook
  • Progress report
  • Planning, estimating, dependencies
  • Working in teams, communication and interaction

Results
Upon completion of the training you will be capable of effectively taking part in a project organisation. You will timely recognise problems and risks in a project and know how to respond and report. You will understand the need and impact of a project handbook and a project plan. You will have insight in a project’s planning and the dependencies between various activities, and therefore also be able to plan and control your own activities. You will be able to estimate when you require support to effectively execute your own activities
