Auditor/Lead Auditor Course

Short description

Target group
This is an IRCA approved, ISO 9000 series Auditor/Lead Auditor training course (A27043) to follow if you wish to conduct internal and external audits to ISO 9001. This 5-day resident course will enable you to plan, lead and report audits within your own organisation, or at your suppliers or third party organisations. Our Lead Auditor training course offers excellent balance between the transfer of knowledge and the development of skills to enable you to conduct effective audits in any auditing situation.

You will require some knowledge of the ISO 9001:2000 quality management systems standard. To help you gain this knowledge, and to ensure that all participants start the course with a sufficient basic understanding of this standard, a short pre-course exercise is to be completed prior to the course. Earlier participants have testified that this exercise is a “far more rewarding experience than trying to memorise the requirements of the ISO 9001: 2000 standard!”

Results
You will be able to audit your quality management system for conformity to ISO 9001:2000 and for the effectiveness of your business processes, and you will recognise opportunities for improvement. Improving QMS performance and continual improvement are key elements of this training course.

Exam and Certification
Your personal performance will be continually assessed during interactive sessions to ensure your tutor can provide with accurate feedback. An open-book written examination will be taken to test your knowledge acquired during the training course. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be granted an IRCA approved certificate.
