How to stay healthy in your work and perform well?

Target group
Managers and employees who want to deal in a balanced way the stressful situations in their work. 

On a personal level you identify with one or more of the statements below:

  • I feel too much pressure about certain issues and I become quickly irritated
  • I have difficulty taking distance from my work and I feel too responsible
  • I actually work day and night
  • I get the feeling of loneliness in my work and I am looking for ways to cooperate with colleagues


Course content
What factors lead to stressful situations in work and life and how to deal with stressful situations? Where is the stress and how can you reduce tensions? Where are your psychological blocks and how can you break through them? How can you get more balance in work and life responsibilities? These are the types of questions we cover in this training course. You also discover the connections between events, thinking and behaviour.

The training course comprises:
Insight in your personal stress indicators and training in social skills such as effective communication, saying “no”, objective observation and being related to others. You learn to see things in perspective.
Relaxation exercises. These teach you how to reduce tension. Not after, but during or even before the event, which causes stress, occurs.

Results
You will be able to resist stressful situations without being swayed as regards your behaviour. You will be able to get things in perspective and see problems in proportion. You will be able to control your emotional reactions even in conflict situations. You will be well balanced, both physically as well as psychologically.
