Short description

Training “Improving Team Performance”

Target group
You lead a team – a project team, management team or workgroup for instance. You are aware that effective collaboration does not develop as a matter of course. You wish to ensure that everyone is working towards the same goal in order to maximise the added value of your team.

Course Content
This training takes an active and dynamic approach to instruction. We will be linking theoretical input directly to practical exercises, which sometimes take place out-of-doors. We will devote considerable attention to how you can put your new insights to practice in your professional situation.

  • Rules for the successful functioning of a team 
  • Your team’s current and desired performance
  • A quality analysis of your team
  • Taking a natural approach to group development
  • Group development stages
  • Communication and patterns in groups: The Rose of Leary
  • Developing and steering self-managing teams
  • Your personal effect on team performance


Results

You are aware of how to best utilise the personal strengths of your team members. You are able to combine the individual strengths of your employees, in order to arrive at an optimum group result and are aware of your own influence on group performance. You are effective when intervening in the team process and are able to realise the added value intended to come out of collaborative team efforts.  You have a clear picture of what constitutes a self-managing team and are aware of the developments that take place within such teams. You are able to adapt your management style and use it to good effect.
